The problem

Richard Lloyd’s marketing to date had been reactive and transactional rather than planned and strategic. Despite attempts at SEO, SEM, email marketing and content marketing and partnerships with various marketing agencies, results had been lacklustre.

They needed a consistent brand message and a measurable ROI for their marketing spend.

It was our job to develop a holistic marketing strategy, aligned to their business goals. Specifically, increasing brand awareness in Sydney and generating more client leads. It’s what we do best.

The solution

We first developed a LinkedIn content pillar strategy. This included a mix of ‘always on’ content plans and campaigns around trending topics, such as yearly market reports or hiring tips.

We then moved to create a long-term SEO strategy, involving link building, technical updates and content creation.

The whole project was supported by a complete brand refresh and a 12-month content plan for the website. This was all aimed at increasing brand awareness and positioning Richard Lloyd as a market leader.

The result? Website clicks from LinkedIn quadrupled within two months. In that same time, we also achieved a primary goal to rank Richard Lloyd in position 1 for ‘Accounting Recruitment’ and position 2 for ‘Accounting Recruitment Sydney’
