Top of the class for brand awareness and lead growth

Teachers Mutual Bank exists to serve those who serve others.
As a member-owned bank supporting educators, its difference is clear, but in a category dominated by the Big 4, that difference wasn’t cutting through.
Windsorborn was brought in to unify brand and performance, transforming fragmented activity into a connected growth system designed to build belief and drive acquisition at scale.
- Low awareness limited growth potential (Only 6% unprompted awareness among teachers)
- Category parity made product-led differentiation difficult
- Strong competitors dominated digital experience and media presence
- Lead acquisition needed to scale while improving efficiency
- Brand and performance activity were disconnected, limiting impact
We built a connected system where brand creates demand and performance converts it immediately.
Working closely with our strategic partner agency, we helped shape and bring to market “Where Good Meets Money”.
Grounded in a simple truth, that teachers do good work and their money should do the same, the platform created a clear emotional point of difference in a commoditised category.
By aligning strategy, creative and media around a single idea, we ensured every touchpoint reinforced the same message.
High-impact brand campaign to build demand
We then deployed the platform through a multi-channel campaign designed for reach, memorability and relevance:
- BVOD & YouTube delivering the hero film at scale, showing the reality of teaching and landing on “Good Money”
- Out-of-home near schools, including:
- Large format billboards in teacher-heavy areas
- Street furniture within 2km of schools
- School bus sides across regional NSW
- Messaging designed to be distinctive, human and contextually relevant to teachers’ daily lives
This ensured the brand showed up where teachers actually are, physically and mentally.
Always-on performance engine
We built a full-funnel acquisition system across:
- Meta & Google as core conversion drivers
- TikTok to reach and engage younger teachers
Campaigns were optimised across all stages, from awareness through to lead and application.

- With a more connected system in place, brand and performance began to reinforce each other, driving stronger and more consistent growth.
- Application value exceeded $1.2B in FY25, the highest in TMBL’s history
- Lead generation surpassed targets while significantly improving efficiency, with CPL reduced to $55 and CPA to $203
- A 28% lead-to-application conversion rate demonstrated stronger quality and intent from campaigns
- Consistent record-breaking months highlighted the system’s scalability
- Brand activity helped build demand at scale, while always-on performance captured it in real time
- Campaign performance became more consistent, efficient and scalable across the year
- TMBL moved from isolated campaigns to a sustainable growth engine, balancing long-term brand building with short-term acquisition
